Hector Palacios ebbf61e15c global: rework Digi DT overlays filename structure
Device tree overlays now have the extension 'dtso' that
distinguishes them from board 'dts' files, so there is
no need for a prefix '_ov_' to tell if a file contains
a DT overlay.

To make them shorter and easier to tell the platform they
are for, change the filename format to:

  <platform-name>_<functionality>.dtso

where <platform-name> can be the name of the SOM or the
name of the DVK, so there is no need either to specify
'som' or 'board' on the filename.

Gabriel Valcazar dbdaf63bfc freescale: linux-imx-headers: replace linux-imx repo with linux-dey
This recipe extracts a small set of UAPI header files form the linux-imx tree.
However, the revision these headers are extracted from is already present in
our linux fork, so bitbake is currently fetching the linux-imx repo to obtain
some files that it can also obtain from our fork. This is impractical because
the repo in question is quite large (~2.80 GiB) and only getting larger with
time.

By modifying the recipe to use our linux fork instead of NXP's, we avoid having
to fetch NXP's repo.

Hector Palacios 61eb1bfbe6 tf-a-stm32mp: create symlinks to TF-A artifacts in subfolders
The following TF-A artifacts are deployed to subdirectories of
the image deploydir:
  - arm-trusted-firmware/tf-a-<platform>-<bootconfig>.stm32
  - arm-trusted-firmware/metadata-<platform>.bin
  - fip/fip-<platform>-<bootconfig>.bin
  - fip/fip-<platform>-ddr-<bootconfig>.bin

These binaries are not copied to the image deploy dir during
the regular do_deploy(), instead, they are deployed by script
tf_a_sysroot_populate() which is added to SYSROOT_PREPROCESS_FUNCS.

To follow this logic, change the previously wrong do_deploy:append
into a new function and append it also to SYSROOT_PREPROCESS_FUNCS,
so that it is called after the artifacts have really been deployed.

In the existing code, fix the paths and commands, which had some
errors.

Gabriel Valcazar 47709a4216 stm-st-stm32mp: weston: restore wl_shell functionality to weston 13.0.1
We apply a very similar patch to the i.MX fork of weston 12.0.4, but we never
needed this patch for stm32mp platforms because they used to have 10.0.2, which

Gabriel Valcazar 767a3a4929 Replace bz2 rootfs tarball compression with xz compression
We tested all tarball compression formats supported by poky, and although bz2
has faster (de)compression time, xz is better in terms of compression ratio:
for all of the rootfs tarballs generated for our currently supported
images/platforms (15 at the moment), the xz format saves an average of 30 MiB
per tarball compared to bz2, totalling up to 450 MiB.

No extra dependencies are pulled in, since xz-native is already being pulled in
for all of our image builds, so the only drawback to this change is the
increased compression time (+7.34s on average per tarball).

Gabriel Valcazar b143804dbb nativesdk-packagegroup-sdk-host: only include optee dependencies when needed
Both python3-cryptography and python3-pyelftools are needed to compile optee-os
with a Yocto-generated SDK, but we were adding these packages to all i.MX SDKs,
even for platforms that don't use optee. This wouldn't be a problem if it
weren't for the fact that python3-cryptography is implemented in rust, and its
inclusion in the SDKs forces bitbake to generate the rust compiler just for
that package.

Only include these python packages for platforms that use optee.

Gabriel Valcazar 99134ca87c imx-digi-base.inc: Set generic tuning for i.MX8/i.MX9
This replicates meta-imx commit addc08b02f9a, which was added to be able to
re-use packages in i.MX8/i.MX9 builds. Without this change, there are
compilation errors when building recent versions of the onnxruntime package
because some .S files are built with specific -march switches that conflict
with our current tunings. For example, when building for the ccimx8x-sbc-pro:

    cc1: error: switch '-mcpu=cortex-a35+crc+crypto' conflicts with '-march=armv8.2-a+fp16' switch [-Werror]
    [...]HalfGemmKernelNeon.S:151: Error: selected processor does not support `fmla v20.8h,v16.8h,v0.h[0]'

Using the generic tuning solves this issue, and according to the log in the
original meta-imx commit, this has minimal to no impact on binaries, so use
said tuning in all relevant platforms.

The value of this variable is always the same within a platform, so it doesn't
make sense to have different variables for it in each recipe that requires it.
While at it, it seems like all currently supported platforms in DEY 5.0 use the
same value of "wayland-1", presumably because they all use similar versions of
wayland/weston. Set this as the default value for all platforms for now. As we
support more platforms, we can adjust this value if needed, but if it ends up
being the same for all platforms, we can just hardcode it.

Javier Viguera 437899bb95 linux-trustfence.inc: use the correct DTB file for signing
This commit in Poky:

https://git.yoctoproject.org/poky/commit/?id=fbace4111441d36026c3b5cd2ef690250ca8c448

changed the naming/symlinking of the different dtb files installed in
the deploy directory. In Yocto 4.0 we had:

146432 nov 19 14:37 ccimx8x-sbc-pro--5.15-r0.6-ccimx8x-sbc-pro-20241119124717.dtb
    61 nov 19 14:37 ccimx8x-sbc-pro-ccimx8x-sbc-pro.dtb -> ccimx8x-sbc-pro--5.15-r0.6-ccimx8x-sbc-pro-20241119124717.dtb
    61 nov 19 14:37 ccimx8x-sbc-pro.dtb -> ccimx8x-sbc-pro--5.15-r0.6-ccimx8x-sbc-pro-20241119124717.dtb

while in Yocto 5.0:

    19 nov 19 17:57 ccimx8x-sbc-pro--6.6-r0.0-ccimx8x-sbc-pro-20241119164948.dtb -> ccimx8x-sbc-pro.dtb
    19 nov 19 17:57 ccimx8x-sbc-pro-ccimx8x-sbc-pro.dtb -> ccimx8x-sbc-pro.dtb
151552 nov 19 17:57 ccimx8x-sbc-pro.dtb

Now, the regular file does not have timestamps or platform name suffixes,
so adjust the signing code to reflect this change.

Gabriel Valcazar 401e99d3f0 trustfence-cst: update to cst 3.4.1
Now that the tool supports OpenSSL 3.2.3, the same version provided by Yocto

Gabriel Valcazar f02d6f9f3c trustfence-cst: use the same toolchain when building internal openssl and cst
An internal build of openssl is compiled as part of the cst build process,
which is later linked statically to the tool. When building the nativesdk
version of cst, openssl's internal "Configure" tool chooses Yocto's nativesdk
compiler for its compilation (x86_64-deysdk-linux-gcc). However, cst's Makefile
uses host tools by default, meaning it will compile its C files with the host's
gcc and link the final binary with the host's ld. This can lead to errors due
to the Yocto nativesdk compiler including symbols in the openssl libraries that
are unknown to the host's linker.

For example, when attempting to build nativesdk-trustfence-cst in Yocto 5.0 on
Ubuntu 2020.04, the following linker error appears multiple times:

undefined reference to `__isoc23_strtol'

Fix this by making sure cst uses the same toolchain as the one used when
building the internal openssl libraries (and ultimately, when the final binary
is linked together). This doesn't affect the native version of cst, which uses
the host's toolchain.

Gabriel Valcazar 8d7680d1d6 global: remove IMAGE_NAME_SUFFIX from IMAGE_LINK_NAME
poky has reworked the format of image names, hardcoding the IMAGE_NAME_SUFFIX
(.rootfs) into IMAGE_LINK_NAME, the name used for image symlinks. This would
only be considered a cosmetic change if it weren't for the fact that we have
scripts and test infrastructure that relies on the old image name format, and
this change would force us to rework it all.

Remove the suffix from the link name to maintain our image name format, and
reflect this name in our custom image type scripts. Note that this removes
".rootfs" from several files, for example:

    * .rootfs.ext4.gz is now .ext4.gz
    * .rootfs.cpio.gz.u-boot.tf is now .cpio.gz.u-boot.tf
    * .rootfs.ubifs is now .ubifs
    * .rootfs.sdcard is now .sdcard

However, symlink names and non-rootfs files (.boot.vfat, .recovery.vfat...)
are unchanged.
